Yes, HireMotorcycle is currently available on the Google Play Store. Simply open the Play Store and search for “Hire Motorcycle” to find and download the app. Our iOS version will be released soon — stay tuned!
3. Are the motorcycles insured, taxes paid, and roadworthy?
Absolutely. All our motorcycles are comprehensively insured, with up-to-date annual road tax and full maintenance checks to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
4. How do I create a booking?
Booking a motorcycle is simple and fast through our website or mobile app. Just follow the steps below:
- Visit our App or website
- Click the three-line menu icon in the top-right corner.
- Sign up for FREE and log in.
- Browse our available motorcycles and select your preferred model from the Motorcycles page.
- Choose your preferred rental dates and click Book Now.
- You will be redirected to the checkout page. Complete the Customer Information Form, then:
- Upload a screenshot/photo of your valid driving license.
- Upload your payment receipt to confirm the booking.
- Click the Submit button.
- After clicking Submit, scroll down to review the Customer Billing Details, then click Place Order to finalize your booking.
Once completed, your booking request will be received by our team. Our support team will contact you within a few hours to confirm your reservation.
5. Do you deliver the booked motorcycle to the customer's location?
Yes, we offer delivery and pickup services across Malé and Hulhumalé for FREE.
6. Are the motorcycles filled with fuel/gas when I rent them?
Yes, we provide each motorcycle with a full tank of fuel at the start of your rental. Please return it with a full tank to avoid any refueling charges. This keeps things fair and simple for everyone.
7. Can I book hourly instead of daily?
Our standard rentals are priced on a daily basis starting at MVR 280 per 24 hours, with potential discounts for longer periods. Hourly rentals are not currently available. However, contact us if you have special short-term needs—we're happy to discuss!
8. Can I share the motorcycle with my friends?
No. The motorcycle must only be used by the registered renter and cannot be shared with others.
9. If damage occurs to the motorcycle, who is responsible?
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period, except where covered by insurance. We recommend careful riding and parking in secure areas.
10. Do you provide a helmet?
Yes, a free helmet is included with every rental for the rider. Helmets are mandatory especially when crossing bridges. We strongly recommend wearing a helmet and following all traffic rules.
11. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you cancel the booking at least 48 hours before the booking date, you’ll get a full refund. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable. If your plans change, please contact us as early as you can and we’ll try our best to help.
12. Can tourists rent motorcycles in Malé or Hulhumalé?
Yes! Many tourists rent motorcycles from us to explore independently. Just ensure you have the proper license. For tourists, your home country license is accepted by the Maldives Traffic Police for the first three months of your stay. After that period, you'll need to obtain a Maldivian license.
13. What should I do in case of a breakdown or emergency?
Our motorcycles are regularly serviced to minimize issues, but if something happens, contact us immediately at 7961777.
